Onomatopoeia

Onomatopoeia (on-o-mat- o-PEA-a) is using words that imitate the sound they denote.


Examples include words such as "hiss". "tick-tock", "click", "clang", "buzz", "burble", "bang", "oink", "moo", and "meow".
